On Tuesday, a film crew and presenter Rowan Hand from the Irish National Television broadcaster RTE, filmed my wife Louise and I for a future segment in the station's thrice weekly programme Nationwide.
It was a most interesting experience, the highlight of which must be the meeting in the African Missions Church, Wilton, Cork, between myself and two priests who were fellow students of mine in the adjoining college, sixty-one-years ago.
Since their ordination, they spent most of their lives in Africa, while my priestly ministry took me to London. This meeting has been filmed.
The final action took place in our home, which ought to make interesting viewing.
